Kannan Rajput Mahadevan is a former quizbowl player for the University of Chicago. He was the top scorer on the Chicago team that win the Division II title at the 2005 ICT. He was slated to be on the Chicago team that won the 2008 ACF Nationals, but this was foiled by transportation issues.
Kannan is noted for the universal adoration he receives from all segments of the quizbowl community, especially former Chicago players.
