UMES was in fact at Georgetown Cup in 1997.
However, Georgetown Cup was also registered with CBI. They
were a very nice team, and they enjoyed playing from
what I heard, although they were a little disappointed
to finish last. Their participation raised some
questions about how to incorporate teams who had never
written questions before or did not know which difficulty
to aim for, but I hope they will return this year.
