WWTBAM -- Quite an Experience

Hey everyone,

Now that my air date has
passed, I can say a little about my time in New
York.

The toughest part (the part that made me nervous) was
simply waiting before we could go to the studio.

Warning #1: If you make it to New York, you will spend
approximately from 12:30 PM to 10 PM at the
studio.

Warning #2: The studio is VERY COLD!!! Wear something
warm. The joke they have been making was "Who Wants to
be a Frigidaire?"

But it was a lot of fun.
This was the first time I had ever been on an
airplane, first time on network (and prime-time) TV, first
time I had ever been to Broadway or Times Square, and
the first time anyone has ever put foundation on me
:)

As for my question, there was no way I could beat
4.15 seconds. The difference between the phone games
and the TV game is that on TV all the answers pop up
at once, so you have to spend a little time reading
the answers. I would have needed either a sports
question (like the Winter Olympics one) or a history
question to have a chance. All of the finalists were very
nice and excited about the experience -- we spent so
much time together on Thursday that we felt good for
anyone who won.

If anyone has any further
questions about my experience, please feel free to e-mail
me at satriani22_at_....

Thanks again
for all the words of encouragement, and good luck to
all who are trying to qualify!
