As far as the sneaker question goes, my initial
reaction was "What the heck is this doing at $16,000?"
That could honestly have been for much
more....
At any rate, though, as the story goes, the people
who started Nike started off selling their shoes from
the trunk of one of their cars. From there I figured
it had to be Nike (though it certainly couldn't have
been adidas--I don't think the Europeans would think
of something that weird :v).
