Yeah, there may be a lot of questions about
America, but you know what? America is an important
country in world affairs, history, and politics. That's
why there are also lots of questions involving
countries like England, France, Russia, etc. What stuff has
Canada done, besides clubbing baby seals, that has
attracted worldwide attention?
Quiz Bowl,
especially NAQT, already has way too many questions on
Canada as it is--tons of hockey, Canadian prime
ministers, authors, Aroostook War questions, etc. Why not
more questions on Mexico, our other neighbor with a
lot more people and a real culture? I'm tired of
having things Canadian shoved down my throat like the
bacon that put that nation on the map.
