TRASH Regionals Midwest at UIUC

The University of Illinois Academic Buzzer Team wishes to announce
that it will host TRASH Regionals Midwest: Urbana Blight on Sunday,
November 10th, in conjunction with our Illinois Open mACF tournament
on Saturday.  Tournament details are described below. Please contact
me (johnlien _at_ uiuc.edu) with any questions, or to register your
team. 

When / Where:

Sunday, November 10th, 2002.  In David Kinley Hall, on the University
of Illinois campus in scenic Urbana-Champaign.

Format:

The tournament will be a full round-robin, with playoffs if
necessary.  If a ton of teams sign up, we'll do brackets.  If not
many teams sign up, we'll double-up.

Registration and fees:

Fees:
First Team:	         $75
Second Team:		 $60
Third+ Team:		 $50 each
       
Discounts:
Working Buzzer:   	-$10 each
Competent Official:	-$10 each
Distance:	      	-$10 if a team travels at least 100 miles 

First-Time:	The total fee is $20 if this is your team's first
ever pop-culture tournament.
Minimum:	The minimum fee for non-first-time teams is $40


There will be a $30 fee for any registered team that does not attend
the tournament and fails to give notice at least 48 hours in advance,
or a very good excuse.  This is per UIUC policy, and not a policy of
TRASH.
