Re: Fwd: web sources and plagiarism

1. Some of us actually use British spellings because much of our
education was outside of the U.S.--or conversely we learned words
from British books and have never altered our spellings since.

2. It is impossible to write a quality tossup on a literary work (or
a philosophical work) without either having read it or at least
skimmed it. You can almost always tell the difference between a
question written from a work and one written from a summary. If the
average QB'er writes say 10 literature tossups a year--how hard is it
to read say 5 novels, 2 plays, and 3 poems in that span?

My 3 cents, nathan freeburg
