seriously, though, i would love to consider attending cardinal
classic, but--and i'm sure there are those that will agree with me--
it's completely unfair that it is held on the west coast EVERY SINGLE
YEAR. what gives? a major tournament like cardinal classic should not
be pandering to anybody's particular geographical needs year in and
year out. the stanford college bowl team needs to get in touch with
reality and start holding some, nay ALL, of their tournaments in
quizbowl-dense locales like the east and midwest. a quick calculation
reveals that they would at least quintuple their profits from these
tournaments by so doing.
well, at least it's not going to be in los angeles. who's even heard
of los angeles? are there any major airports that serve los angeles?
