Pardon me if this has already been brought up; I haven't got the time
to read the entire NAQT ICT thread --
a) Please get over the "Southwest is the cheapest way to fly places"
thing. So far this year, Southwest has turned out to be the most
expensive way to get from Chicago to SF (aka Oakland) and Chicago to
Boston (aka Providence or Manchester, NH). You're doing yourself a
great disservice if you don't check other airlines as well.
b) I just priced flights from O'Hare to LAX (not exactly two "low-fare
airports") on the ICT weekend, and the first thing I got was $194.50 a
person. On American. One can probably do better if one tries. Your
local airport may vary, of course.
