GIT REPOST

First of all thanks to the teams that have registered thus far, we're
really appreciative of all the interest. Second, if you are wanting
to register for the Gateway Invitational Tournament (untimed NAQT IS)
on October 26th, 2002, at Washington University in Saint Louis,
either email the tournament director Joel Gluskin at jagluski AT
SYMBOL artsci.wustl.edu NO LATER THAN MIDNIGHT Sunday the 20th/Monday
the 21st. The following teams have registered so far:

DePauw 2
Kansas 2
Rolla 2
WSU 1
Chicago 1
Wisconsin 2
Henderson 2
Illinois 2-3
Iowa State 2
Oklahoma 1-2
Grinnell 1

If you are unsure as to the number of teams you are bringing either
tell Joel if you haven't already or tell me this weekend at Rolla.
If you have a firm decision about registering (say you haven't
registered but DEFINITELY want to bring a team) telling me this
weekend at Rolla is also acceptable. Registration will be in Busch
100 at 8 am on Saturday, with the intention of getting underway by
8:45. You can find the room at:
http://visitor.wustl.edu/map/hilltop.html

Hopefully we won't have to forfeit anyone's early rounds but it
happens.

The pay structure one more time is:

Base fee $100
Discount for a functional buzzer $15
Discount for a competent moderator/official (As needed and competency
as determined by WUAT) $15
Discount for teams traveling from more than 400 miles away (as
determined by mapquest) $10
Additional teams $75
Minimum entry fee for the first team $65

We're fairly liberal with when and how you pay us. We realize some
teams have different methods of dispersing funds so if something
needs to be worked out, we're more than happy to.

If I forgot any teams it was not intentional just email us back and
we'll see you on the 26th.

Sean Phillips
Vice-President of WUAT
