COTKU among other things

  Hey, this is Lee Henry.  I was MVP in Division II at COTKU.  I 
just wanted to say that I had a great time competing.  We threw the 
team at Athens State together a week ago and had one practice, came 
to Chattanooga and placed.  That was great.  And it's not due to 
over-easiness of the questions,either.  Personally, I am a Quiz Bowl 
junkie.  I've played since Jr. High, and my JOB is coaching a middle 
school team in Alabama (Brindlee Mountain Middle School, 2002 
Alabama State Champs).  I mean, I actually get PAID to do that!!! I 
love this game... 

Basically I just wanted to say that I had a great time, regardless 
of any perceived problems.  The questions were fine, quit 
complaining!!! So there were a couple of repeats, shame on you if 
you missed the same one twice!  Except for the delays between 
rounds, nothing bothered me at all... Just be glad that people like 
Charlie Steinhice care enough about this game to put in the 
ridiculous hours to make these things happen.  Just be glad that you 
get to play this game and enjoy it. 

Because most schools in Alabama don't have College Bowl teams, I 
really thought that my career was over, but getting to play the game 
that I live for again has made me realize just how much it means to 
me, and how much I'm gonna miss it when I graduate in a couple (God 
willing) years.

Anyway, enough rambling on my behalf.  I just want to give a big 
hats-off to Charlie and everyone involved with COTKU, and to 
everyone out there who has dedicated so much to this little game 
that I love so much.  Thanks.  And I look forward to playing you all 
again... Especially Ga. Tech... I owe them one :)
