TWIMC:
Last Sunday, six die-hard trash teams competed at T.R.A.S.H: Follow
that Junior Bird on the campus of Brandeis University in Waltham, MA.
This was an undergraduates-only tournament, as well as Brandeis's
first hosted tourney, and it went off without a hitch.
Erik Nielsen of Boston U., playing as a one-man team, was the clear
tournament victor, winning all ten of his games handily, his closest
brush with defeat being a 35-point win over Brandeis.
Congratulations also go to Boston U. C: Vito Ellson, Rosie Vargas, and
Jen Fick, who were runners-up, and to Babson College, who played
exceptionally well for a team that had only been official for two
weeks.
Thank you to our guest moderators, Mark Coen and Mike Hoey-Lukakis,
our staff here at Brandeis, and all teams who attended. Thank you also
to James Quintong and Alexis Mansfield of T.R.A.S.H. for providing a
great set of questions.
