RESULTS: 2002 University of Michigan Autumn Classic

32 teams competed in the University of Michigan Autumn Classic on 
Sunday, November 24.  Teams were divided into four pools of eight, 
and the top four teams from each division advanced to a single-
elimination tournament.

Hartland A defeated Detroit Catholic Central A, 305-275, to capture 
the Autumn Classic championship for the second year in a row.  In the 
consolation final, Troy A defeated Okemos, 275-225, to take third 
place.

Thanks to our many readers, especially Bonnie Newill, Thomas Edwards, 
and Dr. Julie Stahlhut, who came from outside the Michigan program to 
give assistance.
