Re: ACF Regionals Date

This past summer, the 5th wedding among couples who met while playing
for the Berry College team took place. That's one of the many fine
achievements of Gordon Carper's program (along with co-inventing the
invitational circuit, inventing the portable lockout system, and
refusing to let academic competition die when _GE College Bowl_ went
off the air in 1970). I would be very interested, and delighted, to
learn of other programs that could top the Berry College mark. And
there are many participants from differing programs that have hooked
up and tied the knot - the Groce's being a recent example. Many, if
not most, academic competition players seem to be in healthy
relationships. Perhaps Maggie H. should get out more. :)
