Greetings, Here's some more info on our NAQT SCT. It will be held February 8 at the Memorial Union on the campus of the University of Missouri- Columbia. Directions will be posted later, but basically follow the signs to the Mizzou campus and look for the 130-foot tall tower on Hitt Street. I'll send out parking information later. Registration starts at 9, meeting at 9:40, and rounds start at 10. Sorry, but we won't be including any meals. Contact information is, of course, jcmpn7 at mizzou dot edu. Format will depend on number of teams, but should have some kind of round robin and/or bracket play with playoffs. As for housing, call the Columbia Convention and Visitors Bureau at (573) 875-1231 for information. Now for the fees. Due to copying fees, other costs, and a $630 cost of obtaining the rooms, the fees will be a bit higher than usual, but with several nice discounts. Base fee: $120 Volunteer discount: -$10 (no limit) Buzzer: -$5 (no limit) Visible Clock: -$5 (no limit) Distance over 250 miles as determined by Mapquest: -$5 Second and subsequest teams: -$10 Also, when I say "no limit" on volunteers, buzzers, and clocks, I mean no limit to our minimum fee, which is $80 per team.
