Ann B. Davis Question Writing Hints

While writing your packet, do the following:

1. Read the packet requirements at
http://www.mikeburger.com/popcultreqs.html

2. Set your margins to .9 for left and right.

3. Read the packet requirements at
http://www.mikeburger.com/popcultreqs.html

4. Start typing in a tossup. If it goes beyond 5 lines -- it is too
long. That's about 480 characters right there. That's plenty.

5. Read the packet requirements at
http://www.mikeburger.com/popcultreqs.html

6. Start typing in a bonus. Write the lead in. If it goes beyond 2
lines -- it is too long.

7. Read the packet requirements at
http://www.mikeburger.com/popcultreqs.html

8. Start typing in parts of your bonuses. If it goes beyond 2 lines
-- it is too long.

9. Read the packet requirements at
http://www.mikeburger.com/popcultreqs.html

10. Read your question -- are you the only person at this tournament
who will answer this question. Throw it out and write a new one,
because nobody is going to like it and you will be hated for
generations to come.

11. Read the packet requirements at
http://www.mikeburger.com/popcultreqs.html

12. Look at your tossups. Is it a list tossup (e.g. about 15 items
without key parts of sentences like verbs and clauses). Throw it out,
because list tossups are not allowed at the Ann B. Davis

13. Read the packet requirements at
http://www.mikeburger.com/popcultreqs.html

14. Look at your bonuses. Is it a 10-5, 10-5, 10-5? Does it have 5 or
6 parts. Throw it out, because these are not allowed at the Ann B.

Thank you for your time, because following the above will save an
enormous amount of my time.
