As of posted time, we have given 45 of 48 slots for the 2003 Duke
Academic Festival for Saturday, February 15, 2002. If you are
interested in attending, please let me know as soon as possible.
Currently pre-registered are 30 schools (AR, DC, GA, MD, MS, NC, OH,
SC, VA, TX, TN). The top 16 teams compete for the overall
championship while the next 8 North Carolina teams and the next 8 non-
NC teams compete in separate consolation playoff brackets. We are
constructing a schedule to complete the tournament by 6pm Saturday to
accommodate teams that have already made travel arrangements to
compete here.
If you are interested in competing, please contact me by email as
soon as possible. A waiting list will be created to accommodate any
overflow.
Hotel arrangements has been disclosed to teams requesting information
as well as to our entire list of contacts.
