Sword Bowl 2003: brief results

Congratulations to Emory A, winners of Sword Bowl 2003 at UTC.  
Capping a very competitive tournament, Emory A (the only team in 
either bracket to go undefeated) survived via tiebreaker shootouts in 
both the semifinals and finals, winning the latter over Georgia Tech 
by 5 points for the title.  Emory B finished 3rd, with Middle 
Tennessee State fourth.  

Hats off also to South Carolina.  In the consolation finals, South 
Carolina beat UTC A in yet another close match.  Macon State took 3rd 
in the consolations.
