Let me make it clear that Mike is by far the best player to have 
played at Arkansas, and he does deserve a lot of the credit for our 
program emerging as a semi-power.  (His parents also had a lot to do 
with supporting us when the University wouldn't and convincing us we 
could make a program here.)

However, although a team with me and Mike might have been the best 
team Arkansas has ever fielded, I think our _program_ is better now, 
without either one of us being central to it.  This is the first year 
we have ever taken three teams to a tournament and the two freshman 
teams we took to were both highly competitive and one of them won.  
Look out for them at NAQT Div II.  

Anyway, I second Dave's comments on both Mike's ability and coolness, 
and while he is quite confident, I guarantee neither of the laudatory 
posts about him emanated from Mike himself.
