Call for freelance packets : Beer Bowl III


Forgot to mention this in my original announcement, sorry.  We'll be
needing freelance 
packets for BB3, and in exchange you'll get a set of the tournament
packets, my undying 
gratitude, and if you're really lucky. I'll buy you a beer next time
you're in Tampa.  

And for your convenience, here are the packet guidelines from the
original 
announcement.  Obviously, the deadline penalties are not applicable. 
Let's say March 8 at 
the latest, but if you'll be submitting that late, please let me know
before then that your 
packet is on the way.  

And the announcement:

Beer Bowl III: Bauhaus of Pain is a packet submission trash
tournament. It will be held on 
Sunday, March 16, 2003 (the day after the academic Sun and Fun
Tournament) at the 
University of South Florida in sunny Tampa, Florida, home of the 2003
Super Bowl 
Champion Buccaneers. 

The fine print:

Packets should include 21 tossups and 23 bonuses. In each category,
there should be no 
more than 2 questions from the same decade.

2-4 Film
2-4 TV
2-4 Sports
2-4 Music
2-4 Literature, including at least one question on comic books/strips
2-4 Miscellaneous, including current events, potent potables, video
and board games, 
snacks, etc.

Packet deadlines:

February 15 -$10
February 22 - $5
March 1 +/- $0
March 8 + $5
Really really really late packets + $10
No packet + $15

Base fee is $25. -$5 if you bring a buzzer. Free agents welcome.
Teams who do not submit 
a packet are more than welcome as we will generate some rounds in
house.
