What is this team proficient in? NHL toss-ups? Sorry man, when
your background is ridiculous, the argument becomes so too. It's
certainly possible for a team to 30 most of the few bonuses it gets
to hear, as many of the NAQT bonuses are not particularly
challenging. However, if the team systematically got tossups in one
subject, as your original post stated, the chance of getting 30's on
most of those would certainly be very small. Essentially, if a team
can get 30's on bonuses in various subjects, then it should get more
tossups than just the subject it is "perfectly knowledgeable" in.
You need to find a different way to attack the robustness of bonus
conversion, and realize that any weakness in it likely has only the
slightest effect on the ranking of teams.
