I like having *current* events.  Of course, to be fair, it may be hard at a 
multiple day tournament for people to get access to news, depending on 
situations.  But stuff from that week, definitely.  The worst is when 
something current happens that changes the answer to an already-in-packet 
question.  I'm oftemn inclined in such situations to simply skip those 
questions just to avoid the anger (assuming people playing are up to date on 
things).
