TRASHionals Thank Yous and Other Whatnots

    This weekend's TRASHionals festivities at Boston University in 
Boston, MA started like a lion and ended like an even bigger lion.  
Despite an evil sign to start the tourney (a CD player flatlining in 
my room), the event went well.

    Now onto the thank yous...

    -- Thanks to BU and its alums for hosting, organizing and putting 
together the tournament.  BU is an old pro at hosting TRASH events, 
but the group took it to 11 and put on a great show!

    -- All the people who volunteered to moderate and officiate at 
the tourney, including Tim Woodward, Matt Bruce, Jon Couture, Megan 
and Liz (Alexis Mansfield's friends), several UTC players, Kevin 
Olmstead and several others whose names are not coming to me :)

    -- Jillian's, for hosting the TRASH Welcoming Party.  You've 
never seen a TRASH party if you've seen one featuring Victoria Groce 
issuing open challenges on DDR.

    -- Holiday Inn Brookline for serving as official hotel.

    -- My fellow TRASH cohorts for putting up with me all weekend.

    -- And, of course, the teams who converged on Boston to make this 
a TRASHionals to remember.  

    Stats will be up in the coming days.  We are currently working 
not only on regular stats, but "micro-stats" to determine who were 
the top players and teams in sports, TV, film, etc.

    Teams - we will also be posting a commentary form in the coming 
days.  This is for you to give us your yays/nays about the tourney.  
I'll announce when that is available.

    I'll post info in the coming days on Regionals, Junior Bird and 
VTV.
