That would be a reasonable nitpick. Strangely, there was only one
Carlos at the tournament (at least on scoresheets), so I have no idea
who grabbed his prize. Nevertheless, Carlos may now take his place in
the pantheon of Canadian national quizbowl heroes, alongside such
luminaries as Peter McCorquodale and the illustrious David Thorsley
(who you may have noticed finished in 12th, behind Carlos, so he led
all Canadians in individual scoring as far as I know.)
