ACF Nationals schedule, directions

The schedule for Saturday, as Raj posted, is that registration 
begins at 8:30. I will be around before that, so if you show up 
early, so much the better. The first match is scheduled to begin at 
9:00 AM.

At present, we have a field of 22 teams. The prelims will consist of 
a round robin among 11 teams in each of 2 divisions. Top ranked 
teams will then enter a playoff structure as yet undecided (but 
which will be announced on Saturday morning).

And now for directions.

Just about everyone except the folks from Emory will be on I-75 or I-
85 at some point in their travels if they are driving. Inside the I-
285 perimeter, these two freeways run concurrently through downtown 
Atlanta.
>From I-75/85, take Exit 249D (North Avenue) and go west on North Ave 
into the Georgia Tech campus.
Go straight on North Ave. through an intersection with Techwood Dr. 
and turn right onto Tech Pkwy.
At the first traffic light, turn right onto a short connecting road 
and immediately turn right onto Ferst Dr.
Immediately again, turn left (there's a turn lane on the boulevard) 
into a parking lot.
The red brick building in front of you will be the Instructional 
Center.
Park in the outdoor lots directly in front of the IC (parking is 
free).
An underclassman lackey will be on-hand to direct you.

For those flying into town and staying at any of the hotels in the

Again, registration begins at 8:30 but to arrive early and avoid the 
rush would not be imprudent.

Morning refreshments will be available in the form of donuts and 
juice. Yankees unfamiliar with the ambrosia that is Krispy Kreme 
will want to restrain themselves at continental breakfast buffets in 
order to save room.
