For what it is worth, at Athens State this year, I was the only male
on a team with 5 females. We recruited some male newbies who
attended Moon Pie with me, but for the other 6 or 7 tournaments we
attended, it was all females other than me.
I realized at our first tournament that this was the first time that
I had EVER played on a team with a girl (much less all girls). We
had girls on the team in High School and Middle School, but they
never played (and before you yell "sexism," our coach was female!).
Oddly enough, most of the girls quit after our first tournament...
Anyway, just noting a statistical anomaly.
