ACF Fall Midwest Tournament Announcement

Iowa State University Academic Quiz Club is pleased to annouce that 
it will be hosting ACF's annual Fall tournament on Saturday, 
November 1st on our lovely Ames campus.  ACF Fall is a tournament 
designed to be accessible for younger players but still challenging 
for more experienced players.  Like all ACF events it will be packet 
submission.  However teams meeting certain requirments will be 
exempt from packet writing.   You can find these requirements as 
well as distribution and comments about difficulty level in 
tournament editor Kelly McKenzie's previous post (12906).

The following are the deadlines for packet submission.

Received by:
Sept. 5:   -$25
Sept. 19: -$10
Sept. 26: no penalty
Oct.  10:  +$15
Oct.  17:  +$30
(No packets will be accepted after the final deadline unless 
previous arrangements have been made with Kelly)

Here are the tournament fees and discounts for Iowa State's 
tournament

*Base Fee for experienced ACF Teams - $100
*Base Fee for Novice Teams (entirely 1st and 2nd year players) - $60
*Base Fee for teams that haven't competed at an ACF tournament in 
the past two years - $45
Discount for Operating Buzzer System - -$10
Discount for Competent Game Official (as determined by ISU) - -$25
