Hello all;

My name is Andrew Juhl, this year's President of the University of 
Iowa's Academic Quiz Club.  On behalf of myself and the rest of my 
organization, I am pleased to announce the coming of "This 
Tournament Goes to 11 (v.4.11): None More Black", to be held on our 
beautiful campus October 10-11.  The lovely Angie Lyon and I will be 
co-directing the tournament.

This will be Friday night, Saturday affair with team and individual

The following is a brief summary of the guidelines:
Base Rate: $200
Discount for EXPERIENCED moderators/officials: -$15 each 
Discount for FUNCTIONAL buzzer system*: -$5 per system
Discount for multiple teams: -$5 per team
Discount for packets** (by September 27): -$20 for 1/-$50 for 2
Discount for packets** (by October 4): -$15 for 1/-$35 for 2
Discount for farthest traveled (by Mapquest): -$10
Discount for best packet submitted (our call): -$10
Discount for snazziest dressed player (both days): -$5
Minimum Fee per team: $75

*PLEASE NOTE: We cannot have a tournament without YOUR buzzers.

**"TTGT11 v.4.11: None More Black" is--as have been past TTGT11s--
a theme packet/subject packet tournament.  Any packets submitted 
should have a general theme or subject (even a loose one), and 
should tend to be more academic in nature as we Iowans usually take 
care of the TRASH.  If you think of a good theme, use the guidelines 
below to help you fill the packet; this is by no means immutable, 
but I hope it will help.
