How's that for abbreviations in the subject
title? Anyway, even though this is going to get buried
by NAQT results, I wanted to share something I saw
this morning.
I was channel surfing, and on
WOSU (yes, that would be the PBS station operated by
Ohio State University), they had an "It's
Academic"-esque program called "In The Know". I didn't see enough
of the show to comment much on the format, but there
were two teams of four players each, and the part I
saw was tossup only, with point values doubled for
the last three minutes or so. Some team from Columbus
kicked the ass of some team from
Worthington.
Anyone -- Tom Chuck? -- know anything else about the
show? Format, history, etc?
Oh, and congrats to
all the winning teams this weekend at
NAQT.
