TTGT11 Reminder and Request--and Update--and more!

All:

Just a reminder that "This Tournament Goes To 11" is scheduled for
October 11th in Iowa City, Iowa. This is an individual and team and
academic and trash tournament all rolled into one! But, if it is to
take place, we need two--only TWO--more schools to sign-up between
now and September 27th. Don't be the one who let TTGT11 go the way
of the dinosaurs, Elvis, and John Ritter (R.I.P).

If you would like to come, but are having trouble working out just
how you'd be able to arrive/participate by 7:00 Friday night, please
e-mail me _at_ dr_pookman_at_... (dr_pookman at yahoo dot com). You
can advance register or we can worh you into a first round bye. IF
NOTHING ELSE: we will hold the tournament on only Saturday, or we
will hold the individual rounds on Friday night. We'll accomodate
you if you come, that is our promise.

NOTE: packets submission has changed ever-so-slightly, if you would
like to FREELANCE a packet or are planning on submitting one, we now
require but 21 tossups and 22 bonuses (instead of 22 and 24).

Pertinent information below; soon to be here as well:

*TTGT11 Welterweight Championship Belt doesn't actually exist. I
shouldn't have made it up. I feel just horrible. There will be a
trophy for you, though.
