Re: DC Quizbowlers?

Jarrod-

I've had sone contact with American; they're new to the circuit this year, and
they can't travel too far as of yet; but they seem to be active and (hopefully)
eager... The "official" Georgetown program isn't much (I only saw them once
last year), but I do know there's a grad student there (Augustine Kim) who
often just goes to tournaments on his own; I don't have his contact info
though... I suspect that Dan from Maryland might be able to help you out
there.

Also , if you're interested, we (Swarthmore- we're right outside of Philly and
easily reachable by train) are hosting a pair of tournaments on Nov.8 and
Nov.9- one's an academic tournament for novices, while the other's all pop
culture and has open eligibility. We'd be happy to have you as a free agent,
especially for the pop culture tournament on the 9th. (I don't know if we'll have
room for the one on the eigth, though.)

Anyway, it's good to see some new interest from GW, and should you have
any questions at all, you can email me at cwhite2 at swarthmore dot edu.

Best of luck,
Chris White
