Anyone who read the previous post has probably surmised that there is a serious problem at Texas A&M. A former member of the Academic League here has been contacting high school teams and telling them our tournament is cancelled. Because of his former position as tournament director in previous years, this has caused us grievous harm. I was wondering if anyone had experienced any problem of this nature in the past and if there were any suggestions to deal with it. I realize that the primary offender, Chris Romero, is a well known and respected member of the community. I hope that you do not allow this to cloud your judgment as his actions of sabotage are completely reprehensible to anyone who has ever tried to run a tournament. We would appreciate anything you might suggest that could help us resolve this situation. And I again apologize to anyone who has been inconvenienced by this matter.
