On Saturday, 8 teams showed up in the rain to survive a lack of
buzzer
systems and movable furniture. Battleplanet!!! went undefeated to
clutch the region title. Top scorers were Ed Toutant of Lutheran
Jihad (local freelance), Vincent of 2 Girls, a Guy and No Pizza Place
(A&M), Brian Hight of Battleplanet!!!, Tyler of A Dish Best Served
Cold (A&M), and Mr. Sandman (Jason Escandell) of TKO from Tokyo (UT).
Ed's prize as top scorer was a lemon... but not just any lemon. This
yellow marvel was signed by Stan Lee!
Vincent led the tournament in negs, but Mr. Sandman had one very
memorable one.
