Penn Bowl update

At the moment, we have ~45 teams registered for Penn Bowl 13.

While I do expect a couple more teams to register, at this point, I
am anticipating a field of approximately 48 teams.

The first packet deadline (-$30 for a "full" packet, -$15 for
a "half" packet, *plus* $1 per question used) is this Tuesday. So
far, I have yet to receive a single packet, so the additional
discounts of $20 (total -$50) and $10 (total -$25) for the first
three packets received are still available.

Remember: all packets should be sent to <pennbowlpackets_at_...>.

In terms of tournament format, should the number of teams remain
around 48, we will most likely use a system similar to last year,
save that there will probably be four prelim brackets of 11-12 (there
is a slight possibility of five brackets of 9 or 10, though this
poses other problems).

In terms of game format, I am considering allowing lames, though I
will allow teams to vote. Details on voting will be sent to
registered teams.

Finally, a list of teams that have registered has been posted on the
Penn Bowl website (http://pennbowl.tripod.com/pennbowl13). If you
have registered, and you do not see your school's info listed there,
please send an e-mail to <padt_at_...> and/or
<pennbowlpackets_at_...> ASAP.
