Call for Buzzers

Hi all,

As you may or may not know, Grinnell is hosting our first annual(?)
high school tournament on February 28, and as per our previous
tournament experience, we were assuming that most of the registered
teams would be bringing buzzer systems with them. However, as the date
of the tournament approaches (well, sort of), this is appearing to not
be the case, as we have had only three teams apply for our
tournament's buzzer discount. As we can only provide five buzzers of
varying quality and we are expecting between 20 and 25 teams to
register, this creates a rather sizable buzzer gap.

As such, I would like to ask/plead/beg the teams who are anywhere near
Grinnell to help a brother out and allow us to borrow some buzzers for
our tournament. If you are closer than University of Iowa or Iowa
State, a representative of our team will drive there the week before
and pick it up if need be. If you are farther away than that but are
going to be at the Carleton NAQT sectionals this weekend and have an
extra system lying around, we can pick it up there and return it to
you at CUT. Any help at all that any of you can offer will be very
much appreciated, and will be repaid with our eternal gratitude and an
additional $5 off your entrance fee for GUT 2004.
