Virginia and maybe one other team had 9-4 records, but did not make
the top playoff bracket, so they finished behind Swarthmore and
Delaware.
High scorers were Jason of Virginia Tech with 87.22 ppg, Guy of
Maryland A with 77.22 ppg, and Roger of Delaware with 63.33 ppg.
Div II:
Penn (13-1)
Virginia (11-3)
Columbia (11-2)
Virginia beat Columbia in a 9 minute, half-game tiebreaker to see who
would earn the right to play Penn in the championship series. Because
of a superior record, Penn had a one-game advantage, and clinched the
title by winning the first game against Virginia.
High scorers were "Zizou" of Virginia with 60.38 ppg, Geoff from
Delaware with 54.62 ppg, and Raza from Columbia with 47.31 ppg.
