Hmmm... Good question. But weren't at least a couple of
the teams in the past couple of years imported from
the east side of the Atlantic (ie, Imperial, London
the first year, and Oriel, Bailliol, and Durham last
year)? Is such a thing planned for this year, or is that
top secret?
BTW, to the NAQT Powers-That-Be:
if you are planning on inviting teams from Oxford,
get in touch with them soon. The Proctors have
instituted a new rule mandating that any student leaving the
country for a sporting event in term has to get
permission from at least their college, and, I believe, the
Proctors. This is the rough equivilent of having the
Registrar's office declare all members of a CBI team official
students, at least in terms of time and annoyance.
