The Bowling Green State University Academic Quiz Team will be hosting
the BRAVE Falcon Tournament 2004, a quizbowl tournament for high
school teams, on Saturday, November 20, 2004.
The BGSU AQT had folded a few years ago but is back with new blood and
a new desire to get back into the swing of things, refilling the
several-year absence that the Falcon Bowl once filled. The tournament
is open to all high school teams. We're considering a format that
would be be some mix between tossup-bonus and OAC (by borrowing
Alphabet and Lightning Rounds) which we hope will be an interesting
way to test teams from within and out of their respective comfort zones.
If your school is even mildly interested in coming to BG November 20,
please email bgquizteam_at_.... Making us aware of interest in the
tournament will undoubtedly avoid us from resorting to cluttering the
message board every week.
