I can indeed confirm that that article does refer to me. Here's the explanation of the story(from my end). Stark posted the column, which I had actually been waiting for; however he didn't recognize the player I had been waiting for(Josh Paul). As an update, Josh Paul used to play for my hometown White Sox, is the only MLB player from my hometown of Buffalo Grove, IL, and went to my rival high school, so I've followed his career. I knew he didn't have a hit yet on the year, so I was expecting him to get the "award". I had previously written to Jayson Stark, so I knew he would respond. If there was any other error made, I would have never caught it...but I've had people from all over calling/emailing me. As an update for my life, I'm moving to New York to start a new job in about a month and basically done playing quiz bowl.
