Duke College Bowl will be hosting the 2004 edition of TRASH's Junior
Bird on October 16, 2004 on the East Campus of Duke University
(pending room assignments).
This tournament is open to all undergraduate collegiate players in
their first or second year of play, or anyone who has never played in
a trash tournament before (including high school teams).
Fees:
$100 base fee for first team, $50 base fee for further teams
-$10 for a working buzzer
-$10 for a working reader
-$10 for traveling >=150 miles one way (as determined by me, with the
help of Mapquest)
Minimum fee for a team: $40

PLEASE NOTE: Duke University is also hosting the Palestine Solidarity
Movement that weekend. Most of the fun stuff should be happening on
West Campus and hopefully will not cause too much havoc, but you might
want to add a bit to your travel time, or maybe take a hotel in one of
the other fine Triangle locations (such as Chapel Hill, or Raleigh, or
even Hillsborough or Cary or Apex or something), as hotel rooms in
Durham that weekend will probably come dear.
