The Illinois Open 2004: The Philosophy of Spite is a mere month away.
The no-penalty packet deadline in this Saturday, and nobody has asked
for a packet exemption, so I'll hope to see some more packets and/or
registrations soon. We currently have a field of 7 teams registered,
which consists of:
* Iowa State
* Texas and Texas A&M
* Drake
* Chris Goheen et al.
* Kentucky
* Wesley Matthews et al? (packet submitted)
* Michigan (packet submitted)
I have received at least tentative interest from several other
parties, so the field should grow in the next several days. I'd like
to invite anyone who's interested to please register by e-mailing me
at msorice(at)uiuc.edu as soon as possible. Ideally, I'd like to get 5
more teams.
