Re: Survey: Room fees for events on campus?


Yeah, UWO gave us rooms for free, as a club affiliated with the
University Students' Council.  However, in the building where we
usually held tournaments, there were some rooms that we weren't
allowed to use for any reason, including three or four that were set
up perfectly for quiz bowl games, just because the English department
might hypothetically hold seminars in them when we needed them,
although they never did. (I believe on one occasion we picked one of
the locks and used the room anyway.)
