2005 NAQT New England Sectional Prelim announcement and fee structure

Hey everyone, I am pleased to tell you that Brandeis (Waltham, MA)
will be hosting the 2005 NAQT NE sectional on February 5, 2005
(likely in Rabb quad where pretty much all of our tournaments have
been located.)

I, and our VP Amy Padva will be TD'ing this tournament, and e-mails
with questions should be directed to both of our e-mails ( danpass _at_
brandeis dot edu and awpadva _at_ brandeis dot edu . ) If you want to
register at this time, tell us how many teams and in what divisions
you would like to register, how many readers/volunteers, working
buzzers and clocks you plan on bringing.

Here is a preliminary fee structure (I may knock the base fee down
and alter a couple of the discounts, but this can give you a general
idea for funding purposes.)

Base: $120 for the first team from a school $-20 for the second and
third teams, $80 base for fourth team and beyond
Buzzers: -$10 for working systems, which means at least 7
functioning lights. (If you have other systems let me know.)
Readers/scorekeepers: $-15 we can really use people with the ability
to read NAQT questions clearly.
Clock: -5 for each functioning clock (max 2 discounts)
Travel discounts upon request if reasonable
Minimum fee per team: $60 (although this is all flexible)

We have always been very flexible about finances, new programs,
special arrangements, etc. Just contact us and let us know.

Anyway, remember to contact me and Amy with questions or concerns
and to register . Hope to see you all there.

Sincerely,
Dan Passner
