2005 NAQT Midwest Announcement

I hope everyone has had a good break. With only one team registered
so far I figured it was about time to give you all the details of the
tournament.

The tournament will take place on Saturday Feb. 5th, on the campus of
UMR. I Bill Stallard will be the TD and you can reach me here at
wcsq4f (at)umr.edu Tracy Oliver (tlozn6 (at)umr.edu) will serve as
ATD

There is only two ways to come to Rolla either I-44 or US-63.
If you are taking I-44 you want to exit onto Highway E (exit number
185) from there you want to follow the signs to campus. You will
run into US-63 from there and you want to take a left and follow the
US-63 south directions from there.

US-63 from the north. You will need to take a left onto Vichy road
which is the first light after the Mobil gas station. Once on Vichy
you will need to take the first right then the next left and park any
where you would like.

US-63 from the south. You will need to get onto St Patrick's lane. It
is the first right after the Stonehenge or right across from the
Great Wall Chinese restaurant.

Places available for lodging in
Rolla..http://www.rollachamber.org/motelsbb.htm any of these places
will work, except Best Value Inn & suites as it is serving as a
Dorm overflow.

We will be meeting in Mcnutt Hall Room 204, registration begins at
9:00am and playing starts at 10:00am. (Finishing time will be
determined when the number of teams are finalized) From the parking
lot,( Look for the flag poles and you will be able to see Mcnutt
Hall). Once you locate Mcnutt Hall there will be signs to which door
to come in.

I plan on running a full round robin with a division 1 and division 2
bracket. We will have D1, D1 UG(hopefully), and a D2 champion, please
let me know when you register what bracket you team(s) plan to be
in. You will be on your own for lunch, but you will be giving an hour
