QB Field of 64 Time!

You haven't heard of this? I'm only halfway
stunned. Okay, here's the deal: Every March (starting last
year and as long as I care), I'll pull a March Madness
style bracket out of my posterior and let people have
fun with it. Last year's was based on the poll, but
since the poll has been effectively sabotaged, I'm on
my own. Sort of.

I'd love your help. To that
end, I'm posting the schools here that have a chance
at making such a field. Remember, 29 schools get
Automatic Bids on the basis of being the tops in their
"conferences". Now, all I have to do is choose said conference
winners, 35 other schools, and plant them all in a big
honkin' 64-team single-elim field. I'm not even
pretending that I can do a good job without input. So reply
to me (either here or at mailto:apg_at_... for you
mail people) and let's get busy!

Here's the
potential field (conferences in the order I stumble across
them in my College Hoops Preview Mag):

ATLANTIC
TEN: George Washington, Virginia Tech, Xavier,
Massachusetts
ATLANTIC COAST: Duke, Georgia Tech, Virginia, Maryland,
Florida State, Wake Forest, North Carolina,
Clemson
BIG TWELVE: Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Iowa State,
Kansas, Texas A&M
BIG EAST: Syracuse, Georgetown,
Rutgers, Providence, Pittsburgh, Notre Dame
BIG TEN:
Michigan State, Ohio State, Illinois, Purdue, Indiana,

Northwestern (yep, all of them)
CONFERENCE USA: Marquette,
Houston, Louisville
MOUNTAIN WEST (no auto bid): Utah,
Brigham Young
PACIFIC TEN: Stanford, UCLA, Oregon,
USC, California, Washington, Arizona
State
SOUTHEASTERN: Florida, Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Georgia, South
Carolina, Arkansas, Auburn
WESTERN ATHLETIC (no auto

AMERICA EAST: Boston U., Delaware
BIG
WEST: UC-Irvine
COLONIAL: George Mason, East
Carolina, William & Mary
METRO ATLANTIC: (no
standout)
MID-AMERICAN: Kent, Bowling Green, Western
Michigan
MIDWESTERN COLLEGIATE: Loyola Chicago,
Illinois-Chicago
MISSOURI VALLEY: Creighton, Southern Illinois, Wichita
State
OHIO VALLEY: Middle Tenn. St., Tenn. Tech
SOUTHERN:
UT-Chattanooga, Wofford, Furman
SUN BELT: South
Alabama
WEST COAST: (no standout)
BIG SKY: Northern

BIG SOUTH: (no
standout)
IVY: Penn, Princeton, Dartmouth, Cornell, Yale,

NORTHEAST:
Maryland-Baltimore
PATRIOT: Bucknell
SOUTHLAND: (no

That's 93 teams AT LEAST
playing for 61 spots (plus the three from the nothing
conferences). So I'll need a little help. HELP!
