Re: QB Field of 64 Time!

Ah. It appeareth some of you really really missed
the point. This isn't the college basketball teams
we're working with, but the QUIZ BOWL TEAMS. So while
it's true I skipped over and around a few college
hoops powers (where's Oklahoma State, for example?),
all the teams I listed would be legitimate for a QB
equivalent. So let me try explaining this
again:

Suppose, in some hypothetical, that QB was under NCAA
jurisdiction. As such, we play by the same tournament rules as
the college hoops teams. Included in this is the
64-team Single-elim tournament with automatic bids and
such. Let me use an example.

Yes, the MVC has
Indiana State, SMS, Creighton, and Evansville. But in
terms of qb, Wichita State is far and away the best
team of the MVC schools. SIU and Creighton (I believe
I also listed them) would fight for second. So in
all likelihood and barring a HUGE tournament upset,
Wichita State would get the "automatic bid" to the NCAA
QB championships from the Missouri Valley. Got
it?

Okay, I hope that helps.

Andy
PS -- I know
ALL about college hoops. Don't mess with me. And I
think San Diego could snatch the auto bid in the West
Coast, too... they've beaten both Pepperdine and
Gonzaga.
