Tulane University would like to announce that the 2005 NAQT Louisiana
State Championship will be held at Tulane University on Saturday,
April 2, 2005. This is after the Literary Rally and before the LAAC
Tournament, so we should be OK as far as conflicts go.
The field will be capped at 32 teams.
Fees and Discounts
$100 per team base fee
-$10 for each additional team after the first
-$10 for bringing a buzzer system (One discount per team, but please
bring as many buzzers as possible)
-$10 for every 100 miles traveled, as determined by our friends at
Mapquest.com
$50 minimum per team
If we actually get 32 teams, we do anticipate a lack of buzzer
systems, so please bring them if you have them.
Teams that finish in the top 15% will receive bids to the 2005 NAQT
High School National Championship, to be held on June 4, 2005, in
Chicago.
Lunch will not be provided, but there are many food options on and
around campus.
The last day to register is Friday, March 25, 2005. No team will be
allowed to register after that date.
