Carleton Undergraduate Tournament 7 Results


21 teams competed in CUT 7, the seventh annual Carleton Undergraduate
Tournament,  held on Saturday, March 5. For this tournament using NAQT
novice-level questions, various criteria were used to limit certain
schools/players to competing as two-person teams, while novices and
some others were allowed to compete as foursomes.

Our champion, who went 12-0 on the day, was Carleton Seed of Chucky,
consisting of Patrick Hope and John Morse. In the finals they defeated
St. Thomas Can-Utility, consisting of Paul Drube and Brian Kjersten.
Third place, the final trophy position, went to St. Olaf One-Step,
consisting of John Bartholomew, Carl Carlson, Billy Laxen, and Dan
Sinykin.

 Ladder-style playoffs were preceded by round robins in two divisions,
with these results:
