Freelance help wanted: high school level

UTC is looking for a little extra 9th- or 10th-hour help with our
upcoming high school tournament, the Dennis Haskins Open. We have a
few subjects where we're short on questions, or more accurately short
on questions easy enough for a tournament that will have a fair
number of JV teams in attendance. These questions will be used at
both UTC and Case Western on Sat., March 19. Time is short, but
luckily we're not far off the mark in terms of question volume.

If you're willing to crank out a mere 5 tossups and 5 boni on one of
the subjects below (or some combination thereof), and you can get
them to me by Tuesday night 3/15, we'll send you a full tournament
set in return -- your choice of our extensive college, high school,
and trash tournament library.

Make them pretty easy. Tossup answers should be something that most
teams will at least have heard of, and preferably actually answer.
Boni should include at least one easy 10-point part.

Categories needed:
All four of ourscience categories -- biology, chem, physics, and misc.
science [earth sci, astronomy, etc.]
Math [though we're OK on computer science]
Modern non-US literature

We could also use:
Mythology, esp. Greco-Roman (we're pretty much OK on Norse &
Egyptian, but one or two thrown in wouldn't hurt)
Fine arts, both visual arts and music, with a more pressing need for
tossups
Modern non-US history
A few pop culture geared toward the younger crowd wouldn't hurt, for
that matter.

E-mail me at steinhic [at] bellsouth [dot] net if interested in
helping out. Thanks.
