Ottawa Hybrid Tournament- full results

The first Ottawa Hybrid Tournament was held this past
Saturday at the University of Ottawa.  14 teams
competed in a tournament featuring a mix of "trash"
and academic questions.

2 pools of 7 teams played a round-robin, followed by a
bracketed split of upper 4/lower 3.  Final standings:

Top individuals were Gordon Arsenoff (What Would Brian
Boitano Do...) at 58.5 ppg, Bobby Hsu (11-2) at 56
ppg, and Paul Paquet (triviahalloffame.com) at 44 ppg.
 The top rookie was Dave of Rock, Paper, Scissors at
39.5 ppg

Thanks to all the teams that wrote packs, all the
players that helped out during byes, and all the
people that made the trip to Ottawa, whether near or
far.

Please note that UBC is holding a mirror of this
tournament next week, and some questions may be used
at an upcoming hybrid tournament in May, so please
don't publicly discuss questions on the various
boards.

Once again, thanks, and we may see you again if we get
around to hosting OHT2 next year.
